global warming…..and cookies
So its March 20th, yesterday the sun was shining. Our seeds in our garden were in full “sprout” mode and it was absolutely beautiful. Today, nasty, rainy, snowy/sleet crap. Our poor garden. We did cover it, hoping to salavage some of the vegetables. We will see how destructive mother nature was tomorrow when we unveil it.
On a better note, we finally have a computer at the house again. Watch out for all those anti-virus viruses. They completely took out our computer in one fail swoop. Not sure about the whole itunes, transfering data etc right now, but I am typing on a beautiful gateway 17″ laptop and its absolutely amazing how much faster it is than our old Dell.
Since it was too gross to really do anything, I got bored and decided to make cookies. Its a really simpled sugar cookie recipe. I’m sure they were loaded with calories looking at the contents of the recipe and the icing mixture I made up in the process, but they were pretty good. Cody also decided to help me decorate, making a self portrait and mixing several colors together…..my starving artist ;0)
